Jeremiah 32:27 teaches that our livelihood is not limited by human constraints, and our living should be marked by trust, courage, and hope. It’s a call to see beyond immediate struggles and recognize that the God of all flesh is able to sustain, restore, and empower us in every aspect of life.

The name Nabal literally translates to "fool," "senseless," or "disgraceful." But Nabal’s folly wasn't a lack of IQ; it was a lack of heart. He was a man with a full warehouse and an empty soul. Today, we look at the anatomy of folly and how we can avoid the "Nabal Trap."
Folly begins when we forget that we are stewards, not owners. Nabal thought his walls kept his goods in, but they actually kept his humanity out. Folly says, "It’s all mine." Wisdom says, "It’s all His."
Nabal’s folly made him unapproachable. He was so convinced of his own importance that he viewed kindness as a weakness and diplomacy as an intrusion. He insulted David, a man God had anointed, because he could only see people through the lens of what they could (or couldn't) do for him.
You can be rich in assets but bankrupt in relationships. Folly burns bridges; wisdom builds them.
Nabal lived for himself, feasted for himself, and ultimately, he died within the cold stone walls of his own making. He spent his life guarding his "bread and water," only to leave it all behind in an instant.

...Their spiritual life is fueled by what they heard someone else say… what someone else experienced…

what someone else encountered. Yet they themselves have not built a personal well with God.
