People are doors, and they must be discerned well.

Divine providence is the governance of GOD by which, through His Wisdom and love, He cares for all His handiwork/ creation

Jesus watched Peter and his people wash their nets and after that He asked them to cast it at a particular place.
The washing of the net is symbolic of letting go of every human philosophy, and logic and taking on the approach and methods of GOD. 
Letting down the net is symbolic of humility. Up until they let down the net as the Lord Jesus Christ instructed, they did not have excess and overflow. It takes humility and obedience to experience and have an overflow. 

The oncoming of the hand of the LORD sets us apart, gives grace and distinguishes us from other. 
What makes the difference is the hand of the LORD upon an individual.
