PUT YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER

Diminishing dependency starts or begins with a decline of the heart 

All it takes to develop a godly character is obedience. Making a habit of learning God's Word and demonstrating His attributes will instill in us a remarkable character—a character that will make us excel above all. 
If we must keep an eye on our character, we must search through and look at every aspect of our lives; our relationship with God, relationship with spouse, relationship with children, relationship with employees, peers, etc.
Godly character is being bigger on the inside. 

The strength of character emanates from personal security and self-worth. We must develop the ability to be reflective of our thoughts and deeds. In recognition of the practice of sober reflection, Solomon admonishes us to go to the house of mourning instead of the house of feasting- Eccl. 7:2-3
